Help needed in housekeeping. Requirements: some heavy lifting, no more than 50 lbs; detail oriented; commitment to cleanliness; cleaning background preferred, but will train; some nights, weekends, and holidays required. This position features the potential to earn tips for hard work. Need reliable employees willing to go the extra mile to prepare accommodations for our campers. Must be able to work with deadlines. This is a seasonal position.
Rangers are responsible for helping our guest’s stay as enjoyable as possible. Duties include: Escorting guests to their site or cabin, assisting in maintenance issues, delivering firewood, checking out outdoor equipment, and other tasks to help guests. Rangers are responsible for patrolling the park after quiet hours to ensure campers adhere to park rules and respect other park guests’ peace. Ranger must possess excellent guest service skills to perform duties. Must have some light maintenance knowledge (plumbing emergencies, TV cable connections, etc.) and willing to learn light maintenance if not experienced. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be willing and able to walk length of park within 30 minutes. This is a seasonal position.
The job of a Reservations Specialist is to provide outstanding customer service while performing the daily activities of the front desk. This includes: complete of check-in and check-out, booking reservations, answering phones and handling various guest inquiries. As the first line of communication, a Reservation Specialist is expected to be friendly, informative, and helpful to our guests and always be eager to make the guest’s stay as memorable as possible. This position calls for an upbeat personality as well as dedication to customer service. Must have written and oral communication skills. Experience in customer service and cash handling is preferred but not required. This is a seasonal position that requires working holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) and weekends.
Duties include: Welcoming customers by greeting them and offering assistance; Directing customers by escorting them to racks and counters, suggesting items; Advising customers by providing information on products; Helping customers make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and opinions; Documenting sales by creating or updating customer profile records; Processing payments by totaling purchases, processing gift cards, cash, and credit/debit cards; Keeping clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest; Keeping shelves stocked and neat; Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. This is a seasonal position.
Recreation staff primarily runs activities and various stations at the resort including arts & crafts, wagon rides, lazer tag, waterslide, and mini golf. Staff will sometimes be required to perform as a mascot of the resort. The position calls for an extremely outgoing, fun, and energetic individual that is capable of planning and setting up daily activities and interacting will all ages, especially children. Candidates should have the ability to communication instructions for an activity clearly and effectively, and to keep control over groups of kids. Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required. Experience handling money transactions is a plus. Ability to follow oral and written skills is a must as well as the ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a seasonal position.
Mascots will dress in costumer and attend and perform at resort activities. The position calls for a highly personable disposition and animated personality. Candidates need the ability to analyze and interpret common social expressions and guest needs or wants related to the mascot. Must have the ability to implement mascot personality in costume using gestures. Some performance experience is preferred but not required. While performing duties of this position, the employee is required to wear a large costume and is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, communication, and manipulate objects. This position sometimes requires a person to be able to work in hot, humid conditions. Ability to follow oral and written skills is a must as well as the ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a seasonal position.
