STAY SAFE. STAY SANE. GET OUTSIDE.

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO ENSURE A SAFE GETAWAY

A letter from our team

To our valued campers,

It is our goal to offer you some much needed rest and relaxation during this trying time. Camping in the great outdoors is one of the safest activities to do right now, and we’re so glad we’re able to provide families with a place to make long-lasting memories! Here at Jellystone Park™, we are doing everything we can to provide our campers with a safe stay that is still full of fun! To help keep our campers and staff members safe, we have enhanced sanitation measures that include frequent cleaning and disinfecting of areas throughout the entire Camp-Resort. To ensure our campers have the best vacation ever, we have a variety of available attractions to keep our campers entertained, while staying safe, from dawn to dusk. We, along with Yogi Bear™ & friends, look forward to welcoming you!

Your Jellystone Park™ Team

Before your arrival

  • To promote as little contact as possible during check-in, campers will receive a “It’s Time to Check-In” email the day before arrival to agree to the Terms & Conditions and make any final payments online. If you are a future arrival, you may complete these items in advance by locating the email titled, “Your Campspot Reservation Confirmation” and navigating to your confirmation link.
  • Look out for an email from our Jellystone Park™ team titled “Your Upcoming Stay Information!” In this email you will have more current information regarding your stay. You’ll read about modifications at the resort due to COVID-19, get information on what fun scheduled activities are available, and other helpful information for your stay.
  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, do not come.
  • In addition to your regular packing list, (click here for some helpful reminders) bring all your own sports equipment (basketballs, volleyball, gaga ball, fishing poles, etc.), pack hand sanitizer and other cleaning equipment, a mask (this is required to enter our Ranger Station), s’more ingredients, and anything else to help you have a safe and fun vacation.
  • Talk to your kids about social distancing. Here are some tips to aid in your conversations.
  • Download the Jellystone Park™ app prior to your arrival. With the app, you’ll be able to check out the most up-to-date attraction information, receive text alerts about events happening around the Camp-Resort, and more! Psst…once you’ve downloaded the app, click on the map pin to access our information!

At check-in

  • Upon arrival, please proceed to the Registration Station to check-in. You will receive wristbands for everyone in your group (please wear these at all times so we know who our registered campers are) and a car pass for your vehicles. Visit our Guest Dashboard for up-to-date info on hours of operation, daily activities, on-site dining, and more!
  • Maintain social distancing with our staff and follow guidelines as they help you to your cabin or campsite. We appreciate your patience as we help everyone through check-in as quickly and safely as possible.
  • If you have rented a golf cart for your stay, the staff member will assist you in picking one up.

During your stay

Though we are very excited to welcome you to our Camp-Resort to enjoy the great outdoors, we ask that you please do your part to help keep everyone (fellow campers, our beloved Bears, and our staff) safe. Here are some guidelines to follow:

  • Practice social distancing by keeping a distance of 6-feet from anyone not in your group.
  • All guests must wear masks when entering any public building for the safety of our staff and other campers.
  • Wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the Camp-Resort.

HOW WE’RE ENSURING YOUR SAFETY DURING YOUR STAY

We have implemented several initiatives throughout our Camp-Resort to ensure the safety of our campers and our staff.

    • The following attractions are closed: arcade and pedal boats. As soon as local guidance permits opening, we will do so!
    • Max 10 people per site.
    • Day Camp Passes are not available.
    • Visitors are not allowed at your site. Your site temporarily belongs to the names on your registration papers.
    • Hot tubs at group lodges are not available.
    • Fun Passes, Bear Visits, & Tuck-ins are not available.
    • We have added additional signage throughout our Camp-Resort to remind everyone about social distancing, good hygiene practices, and other guidelines that are in place.
    • We are utilizing the Jellystone Park™ app to send reminders reinforcing social distancing and other measures that can be taken to ensure a safe experience.
    • Sanitizer stations are located throughout the Camp-Resort.
    • Express check-out process is automatic for all guests to minimize contact.
    • Cash-free methods of payment are available and encouraged.
    • We are using disinfectant throughout the Camp-Resort when cleaning and sanitizing.
    • Masks or shields are mandatory for all associates when interacting with guests or in buildings.
    • Staff have been trained on specific COVID-19 procedures based on OSHA and CDC guidelines.
    • Attractions
      • We’ve added new and exciting social distancing activities to our line-up of offerings.
      • We’ve modified your favorite attractions to make them safe for everyone to enjoy.
      • We’re utilizing the Jellystone Park™ app to communicate event updates.
    • Swimming Pools & Water Slides:
      • The CDC states, “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can spread to people through the water used in pools, hot tubs, or water playgrounds. Proper operation and disinfection of pools, hot tubs, and water playgrounds should kill the virus that causes COVID-19. Limit close contact with people outside your home in public spaces, both in and out of the water.”
      • All campers must shower prior to using the swimming pools.
      • Social distancing must be practiced. Our staff will be monitoring these areas to ensure campers are keeping themselves and others safe.
      • EPA approved chemicals are used and safety protocols meet or exceed industry standards.
      • Chairs, loungers, and tables, will be sanitized frequently.
      • Some of the chairs and loungers may be removed to aid in physical distancing.
      • For a full list of what we’re doing to keep you safe while at the pool, click here.
    • Food & Beverage
      • To make sure you’re staying safe while enjoying some delicious food at Nathan’s Famous, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures. Here’s what we’re doing:
      • Restaurant occupancy is dictated by local governance, so we have take-out available!
      • Single use condiments are utilized whenever possible.
      • Cleaning of high touch surfaces hourly (doors, ordering windows/counters, etc.)
      • Following all proper food handling procedures.
      • Offering cash-free methods of payment.
    • Cabins & Lodges
      • Glamping is a great way to enjoy a vacation but with all the comforts of home! View what we’re doing to ensure a safe getaway at your cabin or lodge here.

Stay informed

For more detailed information about COVID-19, how it spreads, prevention and treatment, learn more here.

Also, the CDC has updated their country index page where you can find up-to-date COVID-19 risk assessments by country.

As more information becomes available, we will continue to make adjustments to support the safety and well-being of guests and our team members.

It’s important to know, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are at higher risk from COVID‑19. A risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place, including Jellystone Park™.

Stay sane. Get outside.
