How can we help you?

Here is a list of the most commonly asked questions! Click the question below to reveal the answer.
Please call us at 540.300.1697 with any other inquiries.

How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of your desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!
What are your peak and non-peak season dates and does that impact what attractions are available?
Our Camp-Resort dates and availability of attractions vary throughout the season. During non-peak season, some attractions are only available during the weekends. Our seasonal dates are as follows:

Open: March 26 – November 28
Peak Season: June 11 – August 21 (Daily Activities)

Non-Peak Season (Water Zone Closed): March 26 – May 6 & September 20 – November 28
Non-Peak Season (Water Zone Open—Weekends Only): May 7 – June 10 & August 22 – September 19

*All attractions and themed events are subject to change at any time and have limited availability outside of peak season.
What are the office hours?

Our office hours vary depending on the season. For the most up-to-date hours, visit our Guest Dashboard!

Will my reservation guarantee a specific campsite or cabin assignment?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin location by paying our applicable lock-in fee. If you opt out of the lock in fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.
How do I reserve my stay?
You can book your stay on our website by clicking “Book Now” or “Check Rates” throughout the site or give us a call at (540) 300-1697!
Can I tour the park?
We are happy to show off the Camp-Resort and we do allow tours. Please call ahead, we would hate for you to waste a drive.
Do you offer seasonal sites?
We do not but some of our sister parks do! You can learn all about our other parks here.
Do you offer any discounts?
We do! We offer great deals all season! You can also follow us on Facebook to stay up-to-date on any seasonal deals and specials we’re offering. We do not accept AAA, Good Sams Club or any others.

Are you an active or retired service man or woman? To thank you for your service, we offer a military discount of 10% off any weekday (Sunday-Thursday) stay with promo code YOGITHANKSYOU.

*A valid ID must be presented at check-in to receive the discount. Excludes holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, & Columbus Day). May not be combined with other offers.

Are you a photographer, blogger, or social media enthusiast? Interested in getting a discount on your next stay in exchange for your vacation photos or a blog post on your stay? We want to hear from you! Simply contact us with your proposal and links to your website and/or socials. We will get back to you at our earliest convenience.

What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards?
Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations only. They may not be used towards Day Camp Passes, store purchases, or activities & amenities.
When is the cheapest time to book?
Visit us in the Spring or Fall and enjoy reduced rates! Please keep in mind, activities are limited to weekends only during these times. Enjoy reduced rates during the week (Sunday – Thursday) all season long!
What attractions are included in my visit?
Most attractions are included in your stay for no extra charge, including the water slides, splash pad, and pools, mini golf course, jumping pillows, playgrounds, pedal boats, and more! Lazer Tag, gem mining, arts & crafts, and the arcade, have additional fees. Attraction availability varies throughout the season. For more information, visit our attractions page!
Do you offer linen rentals?
Yes! For your convenience, we offer linen rentals. Our linen sets are $20 and includes: pillow, sheets, blanket, towels, and wash cloths. For more information or to reserve your linens, click here.
How many guests are included in my base rate?
Your nightly base rate includes 4 people (2 years old and older). Our larger cabin units include additional occupants. To learn more about our cabins, visit our Ways to Stay page!
What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?
We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
DO YOU HAVE RVS AVAILABLE TO RENT?
While we do not rent RVs ourselves, we do partner with RV Share, a peer-to-peer online RV rental service. Browse available RVs here. With the rental of an RV from RV Share, you will still need to reserve a site.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Yes! Pets are allowed at our RV sites, but not in our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings. Pets are also allowed at pet-friendly cabins, so please request at time of booking. For 1 pet, there is a flat fee of $40. For 2 pets, there is a flat fee of $60. Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pets and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control. For the safety of our guests, pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the park. You can view our pet waiver here.
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Yes we do. We offer early and extended access for a fee. Early access (before check-in time) does not guarantee site/cabin will be ready or available at time of arrival. Extended access (after check-out time) does not guarantee guest will be able to stay on site/in cabin until departing from the Camp-Resort. Early access/extended access only guarantees access to the Camp-Resort and attractions, which requires parking in overflow. Access is based on availability – please call for info. We absolutely cannot accommodate access before 11am, so please plan your travel accordingly. Click to learn more about our cabin and campsite policies.
Can my friends come and visit?
Absolutely! Guests must pay a visitors fee and the number of people per site cannot exceed 8. Check out prices here.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am daily. Any guest under 18 years of age must be at their campsite or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Can I pitch a tent at my campsite with my RV?
Yes you can! We allow 1 small, 2-person tent at every RV site (in addition to the RV). Unfortunately, we don’t allow tents at any of our cabin sites.
What is the extra car policy and how many can be at one site?
We allow 2 cars per site (both cabin and campsite). If you have any additional vehicles, you must park in one of our free overflow parking lots. One is by the Bark Park and the other is located near the Upper Playground.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. This is a family-friendly Camp-Resort, so please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
Are fireworks allowed?
With the exception of sparklers, fireworks are not allowed in Jellystone Park™.
Where do I get firewood?
We have firewood available for purchase and delivery at The Outpost! Campers are not allowed to bring their own firewood due to state regulations. This is to prevent the spread of invasive species causing deforestation. To preserve the beauty of our wooded Camp-Resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way. Guests found in violation of damaging trees will be fined.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
We do, but the signal strength varies throughout the Camp-Resort. It’s best near the Ranger Station. We think this is the perfect time to disconnect and enjoy the great outdoors!
What is the speed limit?
Because the Camp-Resort is full of active families with children, the speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
Can I bring my own golf cart, motorized scooter, or ATV to the Camp-Resort?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts, into Jellystone Park™. While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our Camp-Resort easy…and fun! You can learn more about golf cart rentals here. If you have a disability, you can bring your own golf cart, however, you must provide documentation for insurance and have a handicap placard.
Can I smoke at the park?
Since we are a family Camp-Resort, smoking, including vaping, of any kind is not permitted in common and indoor areas, including but not limited to the pool area, playgrounds, pavilions and all buildings. Smoking is not permitted inside cabins or on cabin porches, but is permitted at cabin sites. Smoking is permitted at campsites, but must be confined to your designated site. Smoking of any substances besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
Where can I find information about themed events at the park?
Good question! We have a jam-packed calendar of themed weeks and weekends from March to November. You can find a list of our upcoming themed events here.
