Can I have visitors at my site?
Yes! The following visitor fees apply for overnight and day guests:
 
Non Peak Season - $21 / overnight or day, $63 / 4-7 nights
Peak Season & Holidays - $33 / overnight or day, $99 / 4-7 nights
I’d like to go camping near Luray Caverns. How far away are you from this attraction?
Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near Luray Caverns, because our Camp-Resort is located only ten minutes away. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near Virginia, with 15+ accommodation types!
Can I bring my pet with me?
Yes! Pets are allowed at our RV sites, but not in our playgrounds, restrooms, or other buildings. Pets are also allowed at pet-friendly cabins, so please request at time of booking. For 1 pet, there is a flat fee of $50. For 2 pets, there is a flat fee of $75. Pet owners are required to bring a crate(s) for their pets and are responsible for pet clean-up and noise control. For the safety of our guests, pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations. We reserve the right to remove hostile and disruptive pets from the park. Click to view our pet waiver.
What do we need to do for departure in our cabin/site?
If you are in an RV site make sure trash is in front of the site. For a cabin make sure the floor is swept, dishes are cleaned, trash is outside, linens can remain inside the cabin and keys are dropped off to the office.
What can I use my Jellystone Park™ gift card towards
Jellystone Park™ gift cards are applicable towards reservations, store purchases, and attractions.
How far away is your Virginia campground from Luray?
Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near Luray, because our Camp-Resort is located right in Luray, and is only 10 minutes away from Luray Caverns! We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near Luray, with 15+ accommodation types!

What is the cancellation policy?

Do you offer cabins for large groups?
Yes! We have plenty of cabins for large groups! With our group cabin options, we can accommodate groups of up to 19 guests! Cabins such as our Ranger's Retreat and our Three Bear's Lodge are a great option. More information on these rentals can be found here.
How do I use my Club Yogi™ Rewards points?

What is the speed limit?
Because we're one of the best campgrounds in Virginia for families, our park is full of active families with children. The speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 5MPH and is strongly enforced for your safety. We realize that this is ridiculous. However, if you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
Do you offer seasonal sites?
We do not but some of our sister parks do! You can learn all about our other parks here.
Can golf carts be driven off property?
No, golf carts are to remain on the property and driven on the road and not through the field.
What is your policy on firearms and weapons?
Guests must obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms. Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas. The only exception is that guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.
What forms of payment are accepted for my reservation?
We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
When can I pick up my golf cart?
Golf Carts may be picked up anytime between 2pm and dusk.
Can I bring my drone?
No, we do not allow drones at this time.
Do you offer early check-in or later check-out?
Yes we do. We offer early and extended access for a fee.
 
Early access (before check-in time) does not guarantee site/cabin will be ready or available at time of arrival.
 
Extended access (after check-out time) does not guarantee guest will be able to stay on site/in cabin until departing from the Camp-Resort. Early access/extended access only guarantees access to the Camp-Resort and attractions, which requires parking in overflow. Access is based on availability – please call for info. We absolutely cannot accommodate access before 11am, so please plan your travel accordingly. Click here to learn more about our cabin and campsite policies.
Are there any job opportunities available at your Virginia campground?
There are both seasonal and full time positions available. Positions range from housekeeping, reservations, maintenance, recreation, and more. Check out our job board.
How many people are allowed per site?
Your nightly base rate includes 4 people (3 years old and older). Our larger cabin units include additional occupants. To learn more about our cabins, visit our Ways to Stay page! Additional person fee applies.
Can I hang my political flag?
No, political flags are not allowed. Holiday and primitive flags are allowed.
Can I smoke at the park?
Since we are one of the best family campgrounds in Virginia, smoking, including vaping, of any kind is not permitted in common and indoor areas, including but not limited to the pool area, playgrounds, pavilions, and all buildings. Smoking is not permitted within 50 feet of any building entrance, inside cabins or on cabin porches, but is permitted outside at cabin sites. Please dispose of all cigarette butts. Smoking of any substances besides tobacco and vaporizers will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to fine violators of this policy.
Where can I find information about themed events at your Shenandoah Valley campground?
Good question! We have a jam-packed calendar of themed weeks and weekends from March to November. You can find a list of our upcoming themed events on our 2024 Themes Calendar.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed at your Virginia campground?
They are, but the beverage must be held in an unmarked container or koozie. Becasue we're one of the best family campgrounds in Virginia, please be considerate of others and refrain from loud and unseemly language.
How do I book a park pass?
Call us at (540) 300-1697 or book directly online!
 
Online Booking Process:
  1. Enter Dates (Check-In is admission date) and Guests (adjust to 1 Adult or 1 Child) and click the magnifying glass to search.
  2. As results begin to populate, Filter by “Other”.
  3. Choose Your Site by clicking “Select” in the table under the interactive map and “Add to Cart”.
  4. Click “ Review Cart”.
  5. To add additional Day Camp Passes, click “Continue shopping” and repeat the process.
    Once you have added your desired number of Day Camp Passes, click “Proceed to Checkout”.
Can I pitch a tent at my campsite with my RV?
Yes you can! We allow 1 small, 2-person tent at every RV site (in addition to the RV). We don’t allow tents at any of our cabin sites.
Is there Wi-Fi at your Virginia campground?
Yes, we do have Wi-Fi available at our Ranger Station & Water Zone! Signal strength varies based on how many of our guests are using the Wi-Fi. We think this is the perfect time to disconnect and enjoy the great outdoors!
What are your peak and non-peak season dates and does that impact what attractions are available?
Our east coast campground's dates and availability of attractions vary throughout the season. During non-peak season, some attractions are only available during the weekends. Our 2023 dates are as follows:

Open: March 29 – December 1
Peak Season: June 7 – August 18 (Daily Activities)
Non-Peak Season: March 29 - June 6 & August 19 – December 1

*All attractions and themed events are subject to change at any time and have limited availability outside of peak season.
Will my reservation guarantee a specific site or cabin assignment?
We do offer you the opportunity to guarantee your favorite campsite or cabin location by paying our applicable lock in fee. If you opt out of the lock in fee, you are guaranteed your selected site or cabin type, but not the specific unit number.
When is the cheapest time to book?
Visit us in the spring or fall and enjoy reduced rates! Please keep in mind, attractions are limited to weekends only during these times. Enjoy reduced rates during the week (Sunday - Thursday), all season long!
When are your office hours?
Our Virginia campground's office hours vary depending on the season! For the most up-to-date hours, visit our Guest Dashboard.
How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!
Do you allow fireworks?
With the exception of sparklers, fireworks are not allowed in Jellystone Park™.
Do you offer any discounts?
We do! We offer great deals all season! You can also follow us on Facebook to stay up-to-date on any seasonal deals and specials we’re offering. We do not accept AAA, Good Sams Club or any others. Are you an active or retired service man or woman? To thank you for your service, we offer a military discount of 10% off any weekday (Sunday-Thursday) stay with promo code YOGITHANKSYOU. *A valid ID must be presented at check-in to receive the discount. What are my check-in/out times?

What are the quiet hours at your Luray campground?
Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am daily. Any guest under 18 years of age must be at their campsite or cabin during these hours, unless accompanied by an adult.
Where can I find rates?
Our rates vary throughout the season and depend on which site you choose, when you want to visit, and how many people are joining you. To check rates and availability, visit our booking website.
Can I bring my own golf cart, electric bicycle, motorized scooter, or ATV to the Camp-Resort?
For safety and liability reasons, guests are not permitted to bring any personal motorized vehicles, such as golf carts, into Jellystone Park™. While we do not like to be the fun police, guests found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave without refund. For your convenience, we do offer golf cart rentals that allow accessing our Luray campground easy…and fun! You can learn more about golf cart rentals here. If you have a disability, you can bring your own golf cart, however, you must provide documentation for insurance and have a handicap placard.
Do you offer price matching on camping reservations?
No, we do not offer price matching for campground reservations. Our pricing is carefully determined to provide fair value for the amenities and services included in the price of a stay. How old do you need to be to drive a golf cart?
To drive the golf cart you have to be 18 or older with a valid driver's license.
What if I lost the key cabin key?
For a lost key there will be a $15 replacement fee.
How do I make changes/add on items to my current reservation?
If you are needing to make changes or add something to your reservation, such as a golf cart, please use the contact us link to send us a message. You may also give us a call during office hours and we can help over the phone as well. Please be ready with your confirmation number.
How do I add an add-on to my reservation?
Great question! You can add a golf cart, linens, or any of our other add-ons to your reservation by calling us or by adding one to your reservation while booking online!
What if I arrive to your Virginia campground after hours?
If you arrive after office hours there will be a drop box at the Ranger Station that will have an envelope with your name, site/cabin number and directions on how to get to your site. Please take your envelope and come down to the office in the morning to register.
Are lifeguards at the pool area?
No, we do not have lifeguards at the pool area.
Why should I stay at your Shenandoah Valley campground over other campgrounds in the area?
Our campground is in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley and has a variety of cabin & campsite options! Plus, we offer many more attractions and activities than any other campground nearby - including our splash pad, pools, jumping pillows, nature trails, themed events, and more. These attractions, plus our friendly staff, set us apart from other Shenandoah Valley campgrounds.
Do you offer day passes?

Can I tour the park?
We are happy to show off the Camp-Resort and we do allow tours. Please call ahead, we would hate for you to waste a drive.
Where do I get firewood?
We have firewood available for purchase at the camp store! Campers are not allowed to bring their own firewood due to state regulations. This is to prevent the spread of invasive species causing deforestation. To preserve the beauty of our wooded Camp-Resort, please do not cut down or damage trees in any way. Guests found in violation of damaging trees will be fined.
